Hello fellow CRFR's,
I recently purchased a used 07 150RB. I had the same issues that I have been reading about on this forum. Lean running, bogging, and hanging idle. But no regrets after getting into the high speed cicrcuit.
I installed a 45 pilot (had a 42) and did the AP linkage mod. (not the diaphram mod) and 3 turns out on fuel screw. This took care of the hanging idle and is smoother off idle. It still has a bog slightly off idle. So I think I am going in the right direction.
I am going to try a 48 pilot to get the fuel screw closer to 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 turns out.
Will the diaphram mod take care of the little bog that I have left? If so, is there a rule of thumb on the amount to increase the leak jet? 1 size up 2 sizes up?? Looks like it would be easier to just buy the 250 diaphram. If it is a direct fit. As per Professor Redbeard AP mod.
Thanks for any input.
