    what happened

    so i cleaned my bike today and i rode it while the engine was a little wet and it died.i couldnt get it started again.i put a rag in the tail pipe so i didnt get water in the pipe so i dont know what happend

    You got your air filter wet and sucked water into your top end and possibly fouled a plug if you're lucky. If you're unlucky you may have sucked enough water in to water lock the piston and I've seen where someone bent a valve in the process. That would be worse case.

    Or you have water in your float bowl and now your jets.

    Pull plug and drain fuel from float bowl and see if there is any water in it.
