i need a new helmet and i dont know what kinds are good to ride in and are dont hurt your head?

stay away from square ones.

Find one that fits you the best. HJC has always fit me well and they have a wide range of pricing and styles. If its DOT and Snell its DOT and Snell. IMO Brand does not matter so much. Comfort does.

Man you gotta go to a bike ship and try them on, I spent almost 500 bones on a Suomi back in the day and it was HUGE! I wear a thor carbon force now and its so sweet, my wife saw me looking at it and then took it to the counter, gotta love that!!! I'm a No fear/Thor lover, remember you get what you pay for. :twisted:
