Good deal or not..08 CRF 150R Expert, $2500

Low hours, renthal bars, never raced. Used one time in dunes and ridden mostly in the guys yard.

It was ridden by his son.

    Includes paddle tire.

I can get it for $2400-$2500

I want to use it for a fun/trail bike because of its size...
Easier to maneuver and less likely to drop it screwing around on hills.

    Iam 5'9 and 165lbs.

Is this a good deal or should I be looking at the 250R.

Thanks for any advice and input.

We have traded several bikes recently and that is the ballpark where you will have to be. I paid $2700 for my 2008 Big Wheel, so to me that is a good buy. Most of the 150R's I have seen sell for 2500-3000 that are a year or two old. The Experts are definitly at the upper end of the spectrum since the size appeals to small adults as well as kids.

Most bikes in the Northwest are priced $3500+ with handle bars and maybe a skidplate..People won't budge below $3500..most likely because there in them deeper then that..

Found a nice one finally but it's a 8 hour drive roundtrip..Too far to drive if to find out theres a problem or damage.

At your size & weight you should definitely be looking at a 250. I'm 155 and 5'9" and ride my wife's 150RB, for kicks now and then, it is fun, but wouldn't want it as an only bike. It's way too small, even at 100 lbs. and 5'1", she looks a little big on the bike. It is a fun play bike though.
