    exhaust header ? which one

    by honda crf150rb » Sat Jan 10, 2009 8:31 pm

hey i want a new exhaust header because mine has gone rusty and became a weird copper color. im debating on the mrd torque header or the fmf power bomb. witch gives the most bang for the buck?

Thats from not drying your bike after you wash it. take a small electric sander to it (not to much or you will wear a hole in it) then polish it and that will give it a seal that is good for a while. alot cheaper than going out and buying a new header. We did this to my brothers procircuit pipe that he had on his Cr 85 that had sat in out garage for a little over a year and it looks brand new now.

I'll bet if you took a red 3M scrub pad to it you would find that it isn't rust, just baked on dirt, close to the head at the hottest part of the pipe. I scrub my bikes pipes and they clean up like new.

I just purchased a MRD full system and the performance gains are outstanding. Plus if any type of damage to the pipe and dave will fix it for free. www.mrd-racing.com
