    ASV unbreakable handles

    by Collin » Fri Nov 07, 2008 8:53 pm

I just installed a new ASV F3 clutch perch and front brake handle. They look and feel awesome. Much heavier and more comfortable than the stock setup for the clutch and better adjustments. The original stock clutch perch broke on a really lame bounce off of a tree and the stock replacement was not a very good fit. Gonna race them this weekend, I will report back later after the race.

Love them and they are unbreakable the best I can tell. Dropped the bike going over a log in the hare scramble and drove the left side of the bars in the dirt. The hand guard was full of dirt, but I dug the dirt out and found a full clutch lever still there. I love the feel of them.

I have the ASV F3 levers on my 150R too. I like them a lot, and they do have a good feel. Neither of them have broken, and I've taken quite a few good spills. The only problem so far is the pivot bolt holding the clutch lever on got stripped on the bottom so bad it has no threads on it. I don't know what happened, but I'm thinking its my fault. I also don't know if thats covered under the warranty.

I am going to get the Sunline Vince V1 levers for my 125. They are the ones that pivot up, down, and forward. Hopefully they are good quality and last a long time! I'll report back when I get them and ride with them.

I had ASV levers on both my bikes,CRF230...AND YZ250F.....I swear by them! I will never own another bike without them. They were awesome! And I have heard nothing but good things about their customer service. When people call them up with distinct problems, usually they send you a replacement. Mikey526....I would call them up, see what they say, they may send u a replacement!...give it a try...got nothin to lose!
