No. Most likely a carb issue. The pilot jet is clogged...at least partially.

Remove it, clean it, run a small gauge wire through it and then reinstall.

Read every entry on the board about the 150R. There is a lot of info here about problems and how to fix them. My pilot jet was clogged when I got mine. The filter on the petcock is adequate, I don't know how the pilot jet collects so much debris. The jetting is really very easy to change. Oh and make sure to do the AP mod. Even my tech at the local dealer said they do it to most every bike that comes in for service. It is very simple after following the directions and pics here on the CRFs only message boards.

I turned my idle down a little to get rid of the hanging idle and did the o-ring mod to get rid of the bog. I have not really had anymore problems since then, but I do adjust the fuel screw and idle if there is a temperature change.

I have been draining my carb after I ride and have had less starting and pilot cloging issues.

I think the gas we get now evaporates quicker because of the 10% ethanol and other additives. I think it leaves more crap behind also.

I never had problems but the last few years have been bad. Even my DRZ with a vac slide carb the needle has gotten gumed up and stuck twice this year.
