I've had my CRF 150R for about 6 months now and love it. The only problem I find is when I am riding with my kids, they are just learning, it is really difficult to lug it. Wants to pull my arms out of the socket in 1st and just doesn't lug well. Thinking about weighting the flywheel, but I don't want to lose much power. Any thoughts of anyone who has weighted their flywheel, does the bike lose alot of power, will it still have that SNAP that it has now? I do love the power and being able to pull the front tire up quickly and easily, will I lose this? Thanks

I would describe the difference more like taking the edge off. The throttle response is a little smoother in the lower RPM range. Works better for me waiting on the trails for my dad. The acceleration performance lost won't be obvious unless you consistantly push the bike to its limits now.

Collin, did you change to a 7 oz or a 9oz flywheel?

9 oz. If you don't like the way it feels, you probably don't really want one on your bike.
