Does the CRF 150R have enough power for me?

Im about 145-150 pounds, i ride in the woods and i was wondering if the CRF has good enough power to pull me well through the tight trails as well as the open ones. Does it have any low-end to truck up the hills? Is there any mods that would help?

first, welcome to the group. the 150r has a tremendous amount of power for 150cc four-stroke motor. without knowing your skill level and size it's hard to say if this is the bike for you. perhaps you can tell us your height and skill level. it does have excellent low-end power again for a 150cc motor. it pulls well through the RPM range.

I weigh 110 lbs. and I just got my R. I was riding a 150F. I went to the R to be able to ride Motorcross, but I normally compete in Hare Scrambles. In the tight woods, it is quick and more power than I can use.

The 150r flat out rips! It has great power for a 150, but the exhaust makes more db's than our 450x. Red sticker also makes for difficult riding areas in ca during the summer.

I am 150# and ride an 07 RB in the woods of Ohio. It seems to pull me around just fine. I haven't felt at the limit of its power as of yet. It has very good low end when compared with my previous KX100 big wheel. I would recommend this bike in the woods.
