R to RB Expert conversion help?

    by Collin » Sun Aug 10, 2008 6:27 pm

Just bought my boy a 150R today. He sits comfortably on it now, but he is 13 and could outgrow it by next spring. I want to buy wheels and a swingarm to upgrade it this winter once he gets comfortable. He has been riding a 150F so there is a slight learning curve. Rims and wheels are easy to find, but what are my swingarm options? Are there affordable aftermarkets available?

I have been reading posts on here all night, so I have a lot of ideas on upgrades already. I just didn't see any answers to this specific question.

You can buy the OEM swingarm complete for the RB for $ 302.88, with all the bearings/bushings installed.

What he said Keep it roostin .com for the swing arm and I just laced new rims and spokes into the existing hubs you will also need rear brake line and longer chain. :D
