    Possible Purchase...but....

    by Sipneat » Mon Apr 07, 2008 10:09 am

    **EDIT**
Looks like I found a post almost identical to my question, sorry, I know..search!!

Okay I guess I keep searching!!

    **EDIT **

Okay so I am thinking about getting a 150r..mostly as a play bike as I already ride a 450X. BEfore I do it, a really need some input!

    1. I am pretty big, at 203lbs, so, is the 150r out of the question, can I upgrade it to make is "fun"

    2. This is going to be a fun trail bike (yes I know its a R) and possible something to just take to the track. I am a trail rider, so I do not race, but would not mind trying it on a small bike.

    3. Can it be "upgraded", i.e. shocks, etc.

    4. Would I just be better off geting a different bike?

Thanks for any/all input, I lik the 150r for a few reasons, it looks fun, its small and easy, and the price is right, though close to a used 250r/x. My main concern is by "butt"

    Again thanks!

    cool...

Okay so lets say, based on my "stats" above, that I wanted a second, inexpensive play bike for the trails and that a friend could use...

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

Not trying to rain on your parade, but I think you should go for the 150R for the bling factor, and it would be mucher faster and easier to wheelie ;) .

Oh, well that's a relief. Glad to see that you support wheelie-ing as well!
