Done carby kit and quickshot but still no good please help

Hi, could anyone help me please. My son has a crf150r big wheel it went all right but had to turn the throttle 8-9 times and choke to start it. Put a White bros carb kit and a quickshot cover on it. Starts a little better but now has a bog on the bottom end of revs. I have wired the ap and throttle. When setting the fuel screw it does not seem to make any difference between 1 1/2 to 3 1/2 turns out could the low speed still be to small?
It has never had a bog this bad down low. From mid rpms and up it goes hard, start are great. When try to set the idle it tends to rev and then twist the throttle stops reving but cuts out can not get it to idle low. Riding at sea level, he has the Aussie titles coming up in 4 weeks so any advise would be appreciated. I`m pretty sure I wired the ap properly.
    thanks alot.
