    Radiators.

I had a insane crash today. A table top that you could double or triple. I kinda landed in the middle, the bike bounced, kicked the end sideways, flew on my back and slid for about 25 feet on 2 inch chunks of rock hard dirt. I'm pretty much fine (except for seeing red and blue for about 5 minutes  ) but the bike didn't get off so easy. Lots of scratches, bent the handle bar back about 5 inches and the radiators... the louvers popped out (but stayed on) because the radiators are now both bent down a little. Instead of being nice and level they are at a 10 degree bend downwards. I took both shrouds off and the louvers fell off. There is no leakage, so I can probably just use zip ties or something to keep the louvers on, right?

    Thanks a bunch
    Mike

Gald to hear you went for it and are OK!

Yeah the guards (louvers) could be rigged to stay on and protect the radiators from debris.

You could also find a radiator repair buy and bend them back into shape. If you try yourslef they will probably start leaking, they are pretty fragile, that's why I run Devol guards.

You should looking into some type of at least side impact braces, not sure how many companies are making them for the 150R yet but I'll let you do the leg work!

The best suggestion - Make sure you have a manual!

Thanks for the quick reply. I went out to the track yesterday with the louvers zip-tied on in three places. They stayed on fine, and what better way to test if the radiators are still working than riding in 8 inches of mud! I think I'll get some new radiators for next year, along with some sturdy braces. Since I'm almost all moto-x, would the works connection braces be better than the devols, because of the increased air flow? (you don't have to take the louvers off)

    Thanks a bunch

P.S Hey Aspired, have you ever ridden at Aztalan Cycle Club????
