    Twin Air powerflow filter

I was looking at the twin air powerflow filter and was wondering... since it has the backfire retardant foam layer can you take the stock backfire screen out and just use that? It seams like it would be very flimsy that way...

Remove the backfire screen from the white plastic cage by bending the tabs. Reuse the white plastic cage with the Twin Air filter.

Oh. Cool. Can you tell a big difference in throttle response?

    Thanks
