I received my recall notice from Honda. Called S.C.M. They said they would not have parts till 4-17-7 To call after that date and set an appointment for the cam replacement. I'm thinking of waiting till the red sticker season starts then take it to the shop.

That's cool, but what happens if the cam lets go in the mean time?

According to dirty mike, his dealer said they will cover all repairs. I suggest that you contact your dealer and ask that question. You are being deprived of your ride. If they tell you all damage is covered then go out and ride.

My suggestion...get it in writing that they'll cover ALL damage. In my experience, dealers have not been the most trustworthy folks on this earth. If nothing else, they may base their coverage on when the notification went out to you. If so, you can definitely ride it, but if it blows up, make sure you note the date of blow up before the date you were notified. I guess it's just the pessimist in me. Protect yourself...noone else will (especially a dealer.)

Good point. At least get a witness.

Go out and ride! My dealer doesn't have the cams in yet, but I'v still ridden my 150R like three times this season, and if your really worried that your cam will blow up, then just make sure you aren't overrevving it for a long time (thats what my dealer said). And I have a hare scramble this weekend, and it's my first one, so any advice on how to ride it?
Thanks
