the 150R has been taken out of production by Honda because cams have been blowing the engines. there is no telling how long it will take to resolve these issues and when the bike will be available for purchase again.

It’s a "stop sale" notice not a stop production. There was a bad batch of cams which Honda was able to figure out what bikes got the bad cams, hence the vin range. It is not a recall but rather an update to these bikes that got the bad cams. It’s not Honda that engineered the bike faulty but rather a vendor of theirs that produced a batch of faulty cams. No worries here, I am going to keep riding until my dealer gets the new cams in.

absolutely not! this bike rips and a as mentioned the bad cams have been identified and honda is standing behind these bikes, even without a warranty saying they legally have to. for those who are interested this bike rips with a replacement cam. we have had great success with the megacycles and pro circuit cams.

I have a 150R and it rips as is. I'm taking it to my dealer on Monday to have the cam swapped for the new one. Also good news: I know a guy on the board of the AMA and he says next year they will have a class just for 150 4-strokes. SWEET!!!
