Rekluse Z-Start Pro Mod. # RMS-810 is what I have. Looking on Rekluse website that # isn't listed anymore. CRF's Only has it listed though. Contact Ken and see if he can supply.

So I finally took my bike back apart and fixed the gear shifter. Put it back together to try it out and everything works except the clutch lever. I thought that the z start pro let you still use the clutch. I also noticed I forgot one washer. Would one washer cause the clutch not to work?

If it was the thrust washer, yes.

The clutch lever should be very week until the RPM's are up. Completely useless when the bike is off, not much if any resistance at idle, but only 1/2" of free play (fully functional) at 3000 RPM.

it was one of the washers that came off of the old clutch. I tried the clutch lever at different RPM's and it still didn't work.

see if the clutch gets tension at the transfer case. if so then your cable is stretched too far.

you can check by taking the cable off the lever and pulling it with pliers.

I messed around with it today and found I didn't have it adjusted right. Get it adjusted and it works fine now. Thanks for all the help.

Cool, glad you got it figured out. Also a bit unnerving when you drop a bunch of cash on a new part and things go south.

So i took my bike on the trails today and it felt like when i get into the higher gears that it didn't have much power. Kind of like the clutch was slipping. Would this be because of bad friction plates?
