    That is another question. What are the 2 stroke 85 or 125 bikes like? A friend had a kawi 125 and it road terrible compared to my bike? Are the smokers comparible?

    A 125 would be too big for an 11 year old. They can be very intimidating and hard to ride unless you are willing to always stay on the pipe.. they can't really be ridden casually. 85's are similar, except the Honda and Yamahas don't have power valves so they are very difficult to ride especially for a newer rider. Of course, they get easier to ride and will teach your kid to ride well, but the 150's are overall better.

    Doc get your son the 150r. I'm 5'10 and rode a 100F for 2 months before i got my 150RB. The 150r is a great bike and is very light weight. I've ridden a friends 150F and its just big and heavy. If you get our son the 150r (not the 150RB) you can get a sprocket with less teeth or a flywheel weight to calm down the torque.
