i just got my swing arm recall performed today the new swing arm doesnt look much difrent but they put new swing arm bearings in it to. i rhode it today didnt seem any difrent though

Received my recall notice from Honda in the mail today, witch means the SOB who bought it hasn't transferred the title in his name yet..

It dosen't matter if that other person bought from you and dosen't matter if had or hasn't transferred the title you got it frist from honda there for you had give honda the new owner info to honda for it to be transferred to new owner which you didn't do.
There a info change card in letter you got is in back of the letter fill out and sent it back if you still have that other person info.

I must have been seeing different numbers than what Honda has but I got the recall in the mail last week. Calling our Honda center Monday to schedule the service.

Honda really stepped up on this one and their dealer support has been 100%. Couldn't have been easier!

How often does Honda send the swingarms to the dealers? Mine has been sitting at the dealer for 2 weeks. I go on Friday and pick bike up so we can go riding and take it back on Monday.

They could be sitting on it at the shop because they are busy with other (more profitable) things? just a thought.

I bought my wife's 2007 RB a few years back (2017). I just saw this recall. I'm unable to contact the seller anymore.
How do I know if he got the recall done?
(there's no crack in the weld).

ALSO, I stumbled on this information looking for the swingarm bearing mounting depth.
I didn't measure or record the location of the bearings as I was going through and replacing them for what is probably the first time since it's been out of the factory.
*facepalm*
I had pressed them out about two weeks ago, and I just can't remember where they were sitting. Dead center? Towards the inside? Towards the outside?
I'm not sure.
I THINK they were towards the outside and butted up against the thrust washer that touches the frame.

Get the chassis number and contact any Honda dealer. They should be able to check if it has been through the recall.
