I did not end up getting the CR85 I was waiting on. I found another one. SoCalNathan was kind enough to drive to a sellers house and pick up a 2005 CR85R for me. Not an expert, but it will do. Starts and runs well (from what I hear) and I will have it home in a couple days. Putting a new pipe on it for some spark arrestor action and going up to Arrowhead this weekend for the girls to get some seat time and some camping in. Thanks for everyone's help I appreciate all the advise. Nathan, BIG thanks for getting the bike for me man! THATS A REAL FRIEND! I will post pic's when I have it home.

Well I got her the bike, I have it torn down a bit. I think I will have her replace the levers. She has been quite the handy woman around the house and I think she could definatley fit the "mechanic" bill.

It's a great thing that you can do it together! Let us know what the next bike ends up being. Have a buddy who is "thinking" about a 150f.

I had the wife take off her seat and clean and oil her air filter today and put on the new silencer. Next we are changing the oil and she is ready to learn how to ride it. this should be fun.

siiiik. good yob! it only took my girl a day to learn the gears and ride, but she did fall a few times. just make sure she has the right gear on. i remember my girl fell pretty hard and had some nasty bruises on her legs and right arm back in July. i asked her to put some pants on because of the looks i was getting. i think people thought i was a woman beater. lol #-o
