    No Place To Ride NC

    by tom84ford » Thu Feb 08, 2007 7:02 am

I moved from So Cal in March to Hendersonville Nc. So far the only places to ride out here are two way trails or trails you could drive a truck on. The only single track out here is reserved and well protected by the hippies and mountain bike crowd. Brown and brushy are a 2-3 hour drive. It seems that the mountains are nothing but subdivisions anyway. I have a Crf 450 R that has less than 30 hours on it.

    Tom,

The Hendersonville area has some great areas to ride, but most are private land. Invitation only.

2,3,4 hours is worth it for some of the best riding on the east coast. Durhamtown, Broad River OHV Park, TNT Motorsports, DNA motorsports, Lakeside MX Park, Enoree OHV Trails, Kathy's Creek, Strawberry Hill, Brown Mountain, Daniel's Motocross Park, Mikes MX Park.

Durhamtown maybe a little drive for you, but its worth every minute of the drive. It's been described as Disneyworld on motocross. Check it out at www.durhamtown.com. We are trying to plan a CRF's Only ride in March.
