Looking for riding buddies in Wisconsin

    by Dirtdiver73 » Sun May 06, 2012 8:10 pm

I moved to Wisconsin 9 months ago and only know of Flambeau trails for good rail riding. My son and I rode them twice and loved it. However, he left for the Navy so it's just me now. My buddies at work ride quads and I am looking for some fellow two wheelers to ride with.

Im right around waukesha too. I mainly ride tracks and dont ride much for trails anymore. But I can give you a few trails i liked when i used to ride them.

Richard Bong state park - about 45 min away from me
-the trails are pretty flat with not a lot for trees, just kind of open area, can get dry and dusty fast! I used to ride these trails to get faster in flat slippery corners. (Can get kind of boring but for $7 its not bad)

Knobby ridge - about 2.5 hours from me
-very nice trails with many different challenging loops to ride. The landscape is very nice as you go in and out of tree lines and some very heavily wooded areas.

    Black River Falls - about 3.5 - 4 hours.
-a bit farther away but some very nice trails. Many different loops to pick from and very nice lasescape.

    Thanks bro,

As soon as I get this damn cam to go back in I will be all back together and ready to ride. Having problems getting the cam to go in. Just got the head back from fat heads with SS kibblewhites and installed a 13.5:1 piston.
