    Dyracuse Recreation area, WI

Just moved to Wisconsin from Louisiana. i have to say i am having trouble finding dirtbike friendly trails in this state. Were are the USFS trails? I've found Dyracuse Recreational Park but it's private and only open on the Wednesday & weekends. Are there any good dirtbike trails in Wisconsin or do i need to hit the UP of Michigan? Somebody please throw me a bone here. Thanks.

Dyracuse is great! Deep sand and nice wide trails with lots of elevation. Also a nice outdoor style motocross track and hard packed clay supercross style track.

Here is a list or map of all the tracks and trails in wisconsin both dirt bike and atvs. My favorites are Dyracuse, fond du lac mx, Sugar Maple mx, Gravity park, and Aztalan. The best single trails I would have to say are at either Knobby Ridge or Jackson County/black river falls trail system.

    Thanks redrider250r,

Any idea when knobby ridge is going to open. I'm sure there are some excellent dirtbike trails in Wisconsin. I made it out to Richard Bong state park. Nice place, but boring riding for me. My kids would probably enjoy it. Went during the week so it we had it to ourselves. I've researched Aztalan and Fon du lac and a few others. I'm used to riding national forests and camping. National forests have been great in Louisiana. We could ride and camp and it din't cost $20 per person. Anything like that around here? The MX park scene can get costly. How are the Tri-County Trails? Crawford hills looks decent but I'd probably not take the entire family. Again, thatnks for the help. I look forward to seeing you on the trails.

Ive only been to Knobby ridge a few times in the last year but as far as i know you just go there, put money in the drop box and ride for the day. You can also camp there. Bong is nice for beginners but besides that it is indeed boring. Im not too sure what exactly there are for national forest trails or tri-county trails. I mostly ride motocross at the tracks with a few trail rides every once in a while to change it up. Sorry I couldnt be more help with the trails. Do some research online or ask around on other forums to see if you can get more info. And again welcome to wisconsin and crfs only! :)
