Has anyone here ridden from Moody Swamp area, over Garns into Driggs, ID? Or just over Garns from another route into Driggs and back?

We're looking to do this as a last big ride this fall if the weather holds.

I've never been from Garns to Driggs, so I don't know what the trail is like or the actual distance. It would be a ride into Driggs for fuel and lunch and then back.

At least if we make it to Driggs, we can get a ride back!

    Getting to Driggs

After yesterday Garns has at least a foot of snow but if it melts or for next summer this will help. Go off Garns to the SE and you will be going down the Crest Trail. Continue until you meet the Patterson trail and go down that to the Teton Valley. Either come back up the same way or go north a couple of miles and come back up Mahagony and back up to Garns. It makes a good loop.

Well, I've made several trips to Garns, but never had the time to drop over the other side. This summer for sure. Gotta get up and see if it's open yet, it's been a weird weather year again.
