Pretty good maps of some of the areas around SE Idaho. Best printed in color, so you can tell the trail type. Gives you a rough idea of trail type. The ATV trails are good family trails, it's hit or miss on the motorcycle trails.

Some like Burns, and the upper end of Black canyons are not family trails. If it gets bad, it will get worse, so please turn back if you are not experienced and prepared. Trust me, when they say non motorized, they are non motorized and you will be sorry.

I've printed them, and trimmed some up and over layed them so it shows more area on one larger page.

Black canyon is my favorite trail. take it all the way up to chicken peak. like you said though, not a family trail.

Little late, but those maps aren't so hot. I thought they were great, but they screwed them up so they all say they are ATV trails. Most are NOT!

I've gone back to the standard Forrest Service map for sure, with the down loadable maps as a general idea/larger view.

The numbers on the trails also don't match on the down loadable maps. Not good.

Plus half the time at the forks they don't have trail numbers. :D Kinda makes it all part of the adventure.
