We dont avoid the mud, but we dont go looking for it either. We usually wait to things dry out a little before riding. My son runs hare scrambles and sometimes the mud is unavoidable.

Mud is hard on your seals and bearings. It will definitely shorten the life of your bike.

I leave the mud bogging to the four wheelers.

    MR 50 and Thomas Coker,

I live just outside of Columbia and am always looking for new places to ride. What is Taylors???

Oh and if your friend is still looking for a 50, I have one for sale.

I live out in Jacksonville NC. I usually ride at Crystal Coast, and sometimes croatan national forest. They call it a ohv park, but its just a dirt road in the woods. My sister is still new at riding, and we'll go there sometimes.

Also go to Busco Beach every once in awhile. Fun but usually really muddy.

seems like all the good parks are in central or western NC.
