I've been trying to get up there. Heck I only live 30 miutes away. I just can't find the time or anyone to go with. So I have been hitting up Bremen. I've been wanting to hit up the the GPMX track. I heard they are making it bigger. This rain is really getting on my nerves as far as trying to get out riding. We tried to hit up a GA OHV trail and it just started to down pour on us when I was unloading. Said screw it and went home my 10 year old doesn't fair to well on his 65 on wet rocks.

They've been logging at highland park and the first parts of the main trail is tore completely up. Once it dries up it will be fine. Give me a shout sumtime an we'll go ride. At highland park its not the wet rocks you have to worry about, it's the steep off camber hills with with the huge tree roots you hav to worry bout lol.

Will do. Have to hit it up before Feb 1st when the prices go back up. Maybe I can swing something for Monday the19th. Since I took that day and the kids are out of school. Hopefully the rain will stay away long enough for it to dry out a bit before then.

mite try to meet u. but man im tellin u it's a different kind of wet out there. It's wet in places out there when it ain't rained for a month. It's in the mountains. Unless ur kids are REALLY good in mud i wud b cautious bout takin them. IMO. I ride the 3 and 4 diamond trails out there with no problem. I went there christmas eve and had to get off of the two 3 diamond trails I got on b/c they were impassable b/c of the mud.

Kris,
It rained on us our one and only time there and it was miserable, the outside loop is a lot of fun in itself and they tell you that when it is wet to add 2 diamonds to all of the trails which is more than fair. But there are plenty of one and two diamond trails there as well as a mini track for the boys. To change the subject how did you go about getting your passes for Atlanta SX

The crossclub is what u need to sign up for.
I stopped by Talking Rock arena last weekend it looks like a load of fun when it is dry I might go hit it up when it dries out.

well from my pov all the 1 and 2 diamond trails are wide enough for 4 wheelers (except one 2 diamond) and I've got hours of four wheeler trails around the house on huntin clubs. I only go 4 the single track. But thats just me.

No sir if I had four wheeler tracks to ride it would be great (just somewhere else to ride). H.P. does have some great single track I'm out of shape and they really let you know how bad but a lot of fun none the less. I was just letting Kris know there's more than just single track for the little guys.

Paul keeps us updated pretty good at
http://www.georgiaoffroad.com/ There`ll be a lot of changes between now and it gets warm.
He has in the past closed a lot of the singletrack till the weather dry`s up. I went early last spring and they still had a lot of the tight ones closed. But has soon as he has them all up and going we should have a CRF get together.
The first time i went was a couple years ago and they had just had a big rain. Thats when trail 10 was hooked on to Trail 11. We wanted to start on someting easy so we rode around to 11 and got off on 10 by mistake. All i can say that was the hardest trail i`ve ever rode. From now on i make sure it hasn`t rain in at lest a day or two before i go down there.
