    by crfsonly » Mon Mar 20, 2006 7:27 pm

I've created a project bike photo album. There are photos of the progress there and each photo has descriptions. Here's a link:

those are talon hubs and excel rims with red logos built by white brothers. much stronger than stock and once i get tires mounted i'll weigh them against stock to see if that extra strength inceases the poundage or reduces it.

i've got a few more things i can do before the suspension returns but i'm real excited to get that back on so i can get the wheels on.

it will become part of the crf's only museum of fine art. seriously, we had considered an ebay auction to raise funds for a charity. to pull this off we needed to partner with someone and unfortunately, even with considerable efforts and time, were unable to find a partner.

so, for the time being it will become a living monument to the great members of this message board. if that changes you will be the first to know.

    Ken,
Is that your 450x you had before? If so I would have been glad to send you my bike to be done so you wouldn't have to take yours out of service.

I've got plenty of room at my "museum" if you need a place to "display" it

soooo Ken... any new pictures to post? ;)

Personally, I'm dying to see how the RG3 suspension turns out. Is it back yet, or did they get further rain delays?

    Nice pix so far Ken.

Did you try Saint Jude? Also Bethel Bible Village in Chattanooga TN is a great charity. They take children that have one or both parents in prison. I'm sure either would work with you.

PS - or you could just raffle it off to your favorite CRFsonly member, which would, of course, be me. :P
