Braking Modifications

Stick with stock? Go with stock-size wave rotors? oversized front rotor? oversize rear rotor? stainless brake lines?

Wow, no one even touched this item yet. Stainless steele brake lines would be nice. Dont know the need for wave rotors or not, but just putting on some better parts than factory to sharpen up the braking response will be helpful, considering that we are putting a lot more power through this bike.

I personally like the 'feel' that braided lines give in feedback. More on the front than the back brake.

I would go with stock replacement wave rotors
The braided lines is an excelant idea

I called about a year ago BBR to see if the 250X, and R used the same pedal and the informed me that they did not know and what they had for the "big" bikes was being liquidated so they could concentrate on the minis. bummer cuase that pedal is sweet.

I still say we use the hand brake as well. It can really be a benifit in the woods,ever need to choose a dab or brake?

I think the hand brake is a great concept, but on a bike someone is going to test I don't think it would be a good idea. I don't think we should make this bike hard to ride. I know that if I was riding a bike with a rear hand brake it would take quite a bit of getting used to before I could be totally comfortable with the setup. Ernie

I agree with Ernie, it would be hard for me to get used to the Rekluse in a week more less a hand brake in place of the clutch lever. I would go with the rekluse for sure, but the hand brake would mess me up for a while.
Regardless this is going to be a awsome bike

I completely understand what you are saying although the person/people testing the bike is more than likely experianced with getting used to modifications and has likely expirianced the rekluse before.
