Holy Crap! Is that a government subsidized surgical scar? Obama care preview? Dude that looks ah ah ah...yeah Gnarly describes it politically correctly, pretty well.

when i saw it i was wondering whether it had been done at the butcher shop!!! but i was told there was damage further up the arm.

Ouch! Take care of that and keep riding.

Thanks, 12 weeks is the expected recovery time, so just in time for next season. will try and get my x-rays and CT-scan on monday to post some of the damage

yeah, that's gonna leave a mark! it should look a lot better once the swelling goes down.

wrist injuries are nasty if you don't let the heal completely. my son raced for about 6 months with a crack that was missed on an x-ray. when the bone finally let go after another fall a real doctor (who found the crack on the 1st x-ray) got us hooked up with a specialist that made him a custom splint so he could get back on the bike. it was kind of cool - molded it with glove on, and hand on the bars. was like $125 for the splint, but it allowed him to stay on the bike. hopefully the winter will help keep you off the bike so you will rest it.

That scar looks pretty good Mike. Be diligent with your physcical therapy... lots of ice. Good luck.

Besides a neat looking scar, and we know how much chicks dig them, the distal radius is straight. That was good work. Good luck on the continued recovery.
