    Hi,
Go to your local GNC, and see if there are any protein shakes.I know a friend who was lifting a lot of sports an starting taking these shakes after he lifted, and ended up gaining a lot of weight in 2-3 weeks. The key thing about all of that is my friend was lifting a lot of weights. So you will have to lift some weights with protein, otherwise you will just gain fat which is something you never ever would just want to gain.

I have the same problem as you. I swim competitively year round and have around a 6,000 calorie diet. I'm 5'10" and was down to 135 over our winter training last year. The nutritionist said that protein shakes can help, but honestly you are spending a lot of money when you don't need to. She said the biggest thing is to get more calories (duh), and analyzed what I was eating. Try to add lots of high protein or high calorie foods- for example, try making fruit smoothies with bananas, strawberries, whole milk, and instead of yogurt try vanilla ice cream. Also, a lot of people suggest things like power bars, but most only have about 200 calories max. Instead, a sandwich on wheat bread with 2 tbsp of peanut butter or nutella and jelly or jam is over 400 calories. Don't eat really unhealthy food, but try to eat more calories in healthy foods.

Well, With my point of view, You need to Add cheese, nuts and dressings made with olive, walnut or canola oil to salads and Eat starchy vegetables such as potatoes and corn more often. Go for dried fruits or fruit juices as healthy higher calorie snacks. Add cream or cheese sauces to fish and baked chicken breast. Try a nutritional supplement powder specifically for the purpose of gaining weight.

Whey protein and lift heavy weight. 4-6 reps, 3 sets for each workout, rest about 3 minutes between sets. Workout each muscle group once a week. Don't forget to warm up before your workout and drink lots of water as concentrated protein is heavy on your kidney's.

In order to gain weight, you need to consume more calories than you are currently taking in every day.If you eat less calories than this amount, you lose weight. This will not only help convert the additional calories into muscle rather than fat, but it will also stimulate your appetite.

    1) consume more calories than you burn. Choose healthy foods to add calories. Drink healthy beverages add calories day. Mangoes are rich in calories and carbohydrates, involve them in - your diet.
    2) Eat healthy foods often, meals 5-6 times 3 smaller meals and 3 alternates. separated by at least 3 hours so you can digest each meal in full. Do not go without food for 5-6 hours after a meal. For example, if you consume 3000 calories a day, you eat three large meals of about 650 calories and three small meals of 450 calories.
