you'll learn to sleep w/o moving, laying flat on the back is most comfortable, and dont roll over!

+1 on that flat on your back :?
Also, if your having a hard time breathing, then you might have some broken ribs too. I did & they didn't even know until I made them take x-rays

Sorry to hear about your injury Kris!! In 2006, I broke 3 ribs, cracked 2 ribs in my back, cracked collar bone & separated shoulder. I lived in my recliner for a month before I was able to sleep in my bed. Drink lots of water with those "Meds" and I suggest taking some Metamucil to keep things moving..........

If it were my broken colar bone. I would make them screw it back in place.Even if I had to pay out of pocket.

Broke my collar bone in three pieces in 2004...plate and screws are the best way to go.

I have to ask, how is it that you determined that the Leatt is what broke your collar bone? Did you not land on your shoulder at all? Just curious...it only takes something like 9lbs of pressure, in the right place, to break that bone. Again, just curious, not trying to defend the Leatt.

I landed helment first and felt it snap as my body was still somersaulting over my head. It was heck of a ride lemme tell ya. Scared the bejesus out of me. I still havent even looked over my helment yet. All I know is I hit the center left of it. right to the left of my helment cam. But it wasn't turned on thought it was it was the first time I took it out. still trying to figure it out lol. and the break is right on the edge of where it sits on my collar bone.

Anytime you take a lot of opioids daily you need to take an over the counter stool softener, otherwise big trouble lies ahead. Very big ! Doug

after about 2 weeks of agony, it does get better.

the doc gave me a ton of pain med prescriptions, but all I took was ibuprofin (and beer) for the swelling. the good stuff is still in the med cabinet

I think I jinxed myself by posting

Yesterday I went to milestone mx ranch at like 5:30 rode the tracks some then crashed in a corner and broke my right pinkey finger. Thankfully I have a shipload of disability and accident insurance
