    had a bad wreck

    on jan,28-07- i was racing in the vet30+@ oakhill in the Texas winter series. i hit a kicker that shot me over the bars. fractured my back in three places, my collar bone, shoulder blade and 5 ribs.yeah it was a good one. my my back fractures have left me paralyzed from the middle of my chest down. im currently doing a rehab at baylor in dallas,tx should be here about 6 weeks, just tryin to keep my spirits up. hoping one day i'll be able to finsh my moto TODD :?

    Are you serious??? That's horrible!

    Is the paralysis permanent? will you regain feeling at some point??

    Man, I feel bad. I thought I had a bad day...

    Don't know you but I am really sorry to hear that, I will remember you in my prayers as well. I really hope that there is nothing long term, and you will get better with some therapy.
    All of us probably have more than one broken bone and it sounds like you had the outcome none of us ever want to happen. Hang in there and keep yourself in a good state of mind.

    just a little update on whats happening im still at baylor in dallas tx. going on my 3rd week 3 more to go still havent got no feeling back.but working harder than ever at learning new things TODD aka kountryboy :D

    I know from accounts of some others who have had this sort of injury that improvement can take a lot of time.

    You'll be in my families thoughts and prayers. Keep working hard. Don't give up and do your best to stay positive. I know that could be tough, but from what I've seen, it's important.

    i had a bad wreck in 06 and swore i'd never ride again. i'm happy to say that didn't last long. i bought 2 new bikes this year (fury is one of them) I know recovery sucks, i spent 4 months in a hospital bed. Just hang in there. It shouldn't take long with no broken bones
