i read this post a while back and was undecided on trying creatine so i didn't bother....
i race in africa and its rather hot here so we take rehydration salts...these are the ones you take if you dehydrated due to diahorea. they seem to be better than sports drinks. i guess one has to be careful and dilute them with lots of water so as not damage the kidneys.
i would be interested if any of the medical people could commnet on how much to take??
as for energy drinks such as red bull, monster etc i sometimes take them after riding....probably better than a beer!!!
