try on the Asterisk's!!!!! its more of a knee brace than pad, but offers more protection.
BTW, i saw you are from Arcadia, Ca. you should checkout WWW.PRORIDE.COM
it's a local MX msg. board for So. Cal. great way to meet mx'ers, and they have great suggestions too. -

We are on there too. That is a tough board for newbies, but a bunch of great guys on there.
Just watch out for Worm and Slapaho...

Dan (82911sc) has one and rode with it on the McIvers Cabin ride. (But I guess you knew that since you were there...)
Looks like it doesn't cramp your style at all. I think Roady has one as well. -
