Our friends at Rekluse lost a good friend and more importantly a family lost a husband and father. We at CRF's Only will be supporting Al's effort to raise money to help fund Chris' daughters education. We'll be donating banner ad space and gift certificates for CRF's Only products. If you can support this effort too that would be great. Here are some of the details:

Christopher Johnson
5/16/65 - 11/6/05

This purpose of this raffle is raise money for Chris’ family. All proceeds from the raffle will go directly into education funds for his two daughters, Amy and Ashley.

On November 6, 2006 after working all day at a race checkpoint for the Southern Idaho Desert Racing Association, Chris suffered a fatal, asthma induced heart attack later that evening while at home. Chris was only 40 years old. Chris leaves a wife and two small children.

Chris had many passions in his life. One of his greatest passions was his love for off-road motorcycle riding and racing. Chris grew up riding off-road motorcycles. When he moved to Idaho, Chris got the racing bug and in his first year of racing the SIDRA circuit, he won the C class championship. Chris was a regular every year at the Idaho City Enduro, where he won his class last year on his new KTM 300. Chris spent many weekends riding the deserts and backcountry of Idaho. Chris was a regular poster on the Usenet forum rec.motorcycles.dirt (this is the forum that pre-dated all the other dirt bike forums out there). Chris was actively involved in the planning and coordination of the annual, week-long trail riding event known as the Idaho Spodefest.

Chris was a husband, a father, a dirt biker and a friend to many. We’ll miss you Chris.
