is the Tokyo mods a automatic chain tensioner ???? and if so why is it better than the OEM Honda original also is the Tokyo mods better than the Krieger Need help newbie to the form thank you

Since no one has chimed in - Without doing some research my understanding is the Toyko tensioner is a manual unit. The reason people use them is that it is possible for the OEM auto tensioners to stick or fail. I have never seen or had one fail or known anyone to have a problem with the OEM. But evidently some people have or think they have. With the manual unit you have to set it and check it periodically. If I ever have a tensioner issue on any 4 stoke bike I would stick with an auto unit over a manual - that's my personal opinion.

Auto tensions tend to fail because the oil becomes to dirty causing them to stick. The small amount of carbon build up stops them moving further out as chain wears
