Hi i am wondering if you can fit a 2012 or newer kickstarter on a 04 crf250r, please help.

I am not sure if they are a direct swap , but i doubt there is much difference in the case and spindle so i would "guess" it would swap , though the OEM Part # is different for each year , so i am not saying it will swap , but i don't think there is much if any difference , and it could just be a Superseded part number and not a physical difference , but again , I can't confirm this....
