Hi guys, I'm Jake.

New to the forum, looks great what I have seen so far.

I have a 2016 crf 250 and just after abit of advice.

Had a small problem the weekend with kick back when starting my bike, the kick start then wouldn't return so thought it may have been the spring, on closer inspection I found a crack in the crank case at the back of the kick start, something broke inside and forced it back.

Is this something that can be welded or am I best to buy a new one?

If a new one is required where would be best to get one from?

Not to sure how to upload a picture of the damage.

They can be repaired but I don't feel it's worth the effort required to do it properly and I actually have the equipment to weld it.
I would buy a new one or possibly a nice used one.
