    What is this?

    by Munch » Wed May 11, 2016 11:57 am

Hi guys I am replacing my inner clutch cover as mine has a crack in it, it seems most clutch covers (inc the one I've bought) are slightly different to mine, on my old cover near the oil plug it is hollow however on all the other cases it seems to have a enclosed area.

If I can remove the part highlighted in red then the new case I bought will fit but I am not sure if it's going to cause any damage.

    Part causing the issue:

What about if you click on the link http://i.imgur.com/bGeVC3W.jpg does that work?

I have found the part number and name, it comes under jet, piston with part number 11210-KRN-730 however I still can't find exactly what it does unfortunately.

I am wanting to remove it so I can fit a inner clutch case that I have bought, it's from the exact same year bike however the case is very slightly different where you fill it with oil.

Model and year of your bike would help. Looks like part of the starter mechanism. Are you sure you have the right year?
