Fastway footpegs and brake pedal height

    by stangz » Sun Apr 10, 2016 1:12 pm

I am a tall rider on a crf250x and I am interested in installing the fastway footpegs to lower the height of the pegs. If I do this, the brake pedal will be approximately 1/2" higher than the footpeg which is not ideal.

It looks like the brake pedal height is not adjustable, only the play before the rear brake is engaged. There is a heavy duty spring that actively pulls the brake pedal as high as it can go.

Am I missing something? Has anyone else installed the lowered fastway footpegs? Did you just deal with the brake pedal or install a different one? I'd like to avoid bending the existing pedal.

Welcome to the site !! \:D/

The pedal is adjusted at the clevis your talking about , you loosen the locknut then you turn the rod and it will raise or lower the pedal height !!
