Try a bridgestone m404 or dunlop 952 or 756. I have the m404 on my 150 and I raced it in sand and it didn't lose any of the squareness. The little hairs were still stuck on the middle bumps after 4 motos! It hooked up really well and works great in loose stuff like sand and mud. It is also very good in hard pack but wears a little quicker than it does in sand (duh). It was the easiest tire to mount I have ever put on- took about 5 minutes.
The 952 I have on my 125 and it is so worn down I can't really tell how it is (it has been on for 2+ years I'm guessing). I have a new one to put on and it is pretty stiff but looks like it will hook up well and hold up well.
The d756 is an old favorite of mine and hooks up very well almost everywhere. The only down side is that it wears pretty fast. The front tires last a long time though.
A combination I am putting on my 125 is a Dunlop 952 rear tire and a Bridgeston m403 front. They should wear about evenly since the front is soft and the rear is hard.
On my 150 I have the Bridgeston M404 rear and Dunlop 756 front. I have had them on since September and they are working great.
