OFG race

Well another race day in the books. It started as a sunny day 74* dry and dusty. The woods are only used 2 times a year for racing. The widest trail is around 2 ft wide. # of us were out. Dino ,Myself, and an OFG we'll call "yank em"(he's a dentist)Dino and Yank em we're very close going into the woods. Dino was 4th, They were dicing back and forth for the first. Dino had some bike problems. His X kept dieing going over logs, out of creeks,up hills, and other inopportune times. So the big D called it quits. Yank em ends up 2nd in the 40+ B class.
I was also 4th into the woods and did good for the first lap and a half. Then it seemed like everything went wrong. I planted my face on 2 trees fell in a rut and twisted my ankle. Crashed going over a 30" log. But I was able to pull out a 9th place. Once the pain pills started working I got my boot off and it looks ok. All in all a pretty good day racing.
One obstickel we had to go down was a hill climb hill. A lot of curse words were heard as riders looked down this thing. I started over the lip and closed the throttle and the Rekluse worked great. Nothing like going down a cliff in neutral. I hit the silt at the bottom and my bars went lock to lock 3 times
as they hit center again I pinned the gas and wheelied out of it.
