Riding in Mexico is cool right? I wonder if I could get a job teaching English and American culture and move there? Houses are cheaper that's a fact. I wonder what their immigration laws are?

I voted for Bush the 2nd and what does he want?... to give away my country to Mexico.

I voted for my senator Jon Kyle because he was "TOUGH ON IMMIGRATION". Big fat lie!!! I'm tired of getting lied too. Those liers can go to h  ll! Kyle will never get my vote again.

We are sending our boys to fight a war and sacrifice everything just so we can give this country away... I'm pissed off but this is the ultimate slap in the face to our service Men and Women who have ever served this country.

    Don't even get me started!!!

I feel the illegal immigrants should be treated as anyone who breaks the law and should be deported, I feel if you are caught employing an illegal you should be treated as a criminal fined, and possible jail time as well as placed under watch for future infractions. I believe any trade with mexico should be shut down until they get involved in reducing the illegal crossing of borders. any U.S. based company manufacturing goods in mexico should be taxed to compensate the nation for the cost of illegal immigrants burdens on our citizens. I think the mexican people do a service for our country that many in our nation would not lower themselves to do, so perhaps those people should be given less, and less financial assistance by our government until that demeaning job looks like a step up from a demeaning hand out. I have nothing against the mexican people I wish they had a fair and just Government. Too bad We can't fix the problems close to home before we tackle those abroad( key word before ). I only hope the next generation can create a positive spin on our country not just within our borders.

Matt the Machinist, don't forget that many Latinos and illegal immigrants are serving this Country right now as they did during Vietnam. In fact, a Mexican national and San Diego resident was recently granted citizenship after dying at war while fighting for our country.

Uniped, I invite to visit the Imperial Valley so you may witness the work Mexicans are doing in this part of the Country. As you mentioned, these people are taking jobs other people are not willing to take, but I disagree with your comment about them receiving financial assistance. No one is getting handouts down here. These workers are crossing the border at 3am to work the fields all day and then return to their homes in Mexicali.

The money I save on a head of lettuce because wages are kept low do to the exploitation of Illegal workers is more than paid for through taxes to provide education and healthcare sevices to these illegal workers!

Uni, you said you wish we could help fix the Mexican government! We can!!! Deport 12 million illegals from here back to their country, shut down the border tight and let the Mexican people do what they should have done years ago, Revolt! Let them fight and die for a government for the people and by the people! We have already showed the 12 million illegals what is possible, now let them go home and make it for themselves and their countrymen!!!

Does this seem too harsh for anyone? If so, get a book on American History or the American Revolution!!! If not for illegal immigration this might have happened a long time ago!!!

I tend to agree more with Scott's post from above. I am not upset with illegal immigrants, on a personal level. Man to man, I can not hate someone who is trying as hard as they can to provide for their families or just work, period. I also agree with Scott in regards to denying handouts to people that are "too good" to work some of these jobs. We could do a lot better as a nation if we united as a society and became involved with what is going on with our own citizens and holding them more accountable for their choices. Working and providing should be the focal point, not wether or not the job is cool, acceptable, or just plain hard. My Dad used to have a saying when I complained about work or responsibility in general...."Suck it up".

I have not one ounce of hate for these illegals! I do however feel frustration and contempt for illegals who will demonstrate against reform holding the American flag to do it! Lots of contempt for Mexico who feels we should get their permission to build a fence on our border! Has this world gone insane????? Shut down the Border!!!!!!! and then deal with the existing illegals!!!! Duh!!

They are also taking jobs most americans will do; constuction, restuarant business, maid services ect.. Field work yes, we need to put the prisoners in the fields to their work.
