    Does anybody know if this is water proof, or water resistant or if they make a cover. Their web site doesn't say

    lets just say it doesn't like the pressure washer ................


    so no they are not waterproof , I had to take mine apart and dry it out because it would not function at all , after drying and reassembly it works like new

    I just got the low down from Trail Tech. They say the computer is water proof. She said they submersed it for hours with no problems. The part to watch is the connectors. If they get wet you might get bad reading until they dry. The suggestion was to dab the connecters with silicone. I also think you were right about pressure washing. :)

    :roll: She don't know what she's talking about then because a 3 hour ride on a humid foggy rainy day in New Hampshire had mine full of moisture so bad that it fogged the glass so you couldn't even see it , the pressure washer came later :oops: :roll:

    I also got a reply from tech support and they said it is strongly water resistant. I think I'll listen to you and be careful with it.

    Mustang, sounds to me like you may have a bad unit. If you got that much moisture inside, your unit may corrode internally and die and early death. You might want to call Trail Tech.
