What is the best way to wash your bike? Safe to just hose down? avoid water in certain location? or what?

Pretty safe to hose it down. Block off the exhaust, and try not to get any into the air filter. Avoid jetting water into your steering head. Have fun.

I found out on my last bike that just hosing it off and leaving it made it very hard to dry and brought on a little rust. Started usind the leaf blower after washing, major improvement.
