    Bedliner Poll

    by Rage » Sat Apr 14, 2007 2:39 am

Ok I am reaching out again to my fello CRF only members. I am going to buy a pick-up when I get back from the middle east. I am looking at these two products for the bed of pick-up. Thanks for your help.

I have a linex liner and I think it could be better. It was in the truck when I bought and the salesman said if I didn't want it I didn't have to pay for it :) so I got it for free.

I have zero complaints about the RhinoLining in my F-150. I will definitely get it on the next pu truck.

The disadvantage to Rhino liner is that it takes 24 hours to set up completely, where as the Linex sets in seconds. This results in a thinner cover over the tops of the ridges in the bed, and a thicker cover in the valleys of the bed. Linex won't give you this kind of uneven covering.

I researched both extensively before I bought the Line-X for my truck. After reading all you can on their websites, the best thing you can do is go there and look at both and see the difference.

Rhino lining is the hit!! I put mine in about 2 years ago and regulary carry engine blocks, landscaping materials and a wide variety of other crap that tore up more than one plastic bedliner. To this day, not one blemish. I just hose it out and its ready to go.
Could you repeat that? In English this time!

While I realize that the looks of the liner is not so important to some...

Line-X holds a better finish than Rhinoliner. Seems the Rhinolining I'm familiar with looks worn very fast. The Line-X always had a "newer" look for the life of the coating...

3 tears and a dent in my Rhino. One tear was from the bike bouncing onto the ramp while going down some washboard. By the time I got home it had torn a nice chunk chunk out.

I will try the linex next time.

Love me Line-X spray in bedliner--

however I did gouge/tear it loading an attachment from a Bobcat.

Whatever you decide, do not go with a color based spray in liner. They look like s**t once they get some dirt or a few scratches into them.

    Good luck!
