that is raised above ground without a rail.
    they are called mx haulers.

    Wow neat idea ..

Do you need to beef up rear suspension on your vehicle ?

When I first bought the double tray, I only had a jeep Grand Cherokee, so I put air bags on the back and that helped a fair amount, but it still lookede like I was pulling wheelies driving down the freeway!

Then I got the Chevy Tahoe with autoride suspension and it automatically levels the ride, totally saweet!

You don't need anything for the single tray!

I use the double Joe Hauler for my 450X and my sons crf50 and it works very well. I don't know about other brands but the cam-lock on this hauler keeps the whole thing pretty stable. The optional ramp makes getting the bikes on and off very easy for one person. All you need from your truck is a class III hitch...that's about it.

One other point for Joe Hauler...they are very cool and took care of me when I wanted the gas can holders put on...I called them because I couldn't figure out where the bolt-on can holder fit...it turned out that I had another manufacturers can holder, which would not fit. I paid $50 for it but the shop where I bought it was 2 hours away from me and I won't drive back for fifty bucks. Since I live about 1/2 hour from their shop, they said come by whenever I want and they will weld one on for me. They put two can holders in for me while I waited for only $50.

After seeing their shop it is obvious these guys are good at what they do and they can custom build just anything you want to fit your ride.

Just my experience but I am very happy with the hauler that can take two bikes anywhere and fits in my garage leaning against a wall taking up almost no room at all.

The Joe Haulers stuff is top notch. I had a mx hauler that was a jack deal and it was a POS! I hauled a buddies roll away tool baox on my single rail hauler with no problems.
