CRFs Only I m new to the site and just want to say that this site ROCKS!! I have a 05 250X now that I do enjoy most of my rides are bush trails and logging roads. I got my wife into her first bike (CRF150) but when I ride with her I find I m always wanting more bottom end. Shes learning so things are not very fast paced What would be the best gearing solutions to have more bottom end riding with her BUT still having enough top end to ride with the boys?? The gearing now is stock. any info would be great THANKS
Once again YOU GUYS ROCK !!!

Your only real option with gearing is to go with a 13 Counter shaft sprocket. It is inexpensive and It'll give you more grunt.
However you will sacrifice top end.
It is easily changed, so when you roll with the boys, throw the 14 back on.
BTW Welcome to the site!!!

AS what are somre other options in mods I should look at? I was going to gut my air box this morning but did not know if I should do it with stock jetting. Do I need to change the jetting after I gut it?

Yes.
All the mods we talk about concerning airflow and jetting should be done at the same time.
They will increase power, throttle response and eliminate any bog.

I love the 13 tooth sprocket for the tight stuff and don't miss the 14 in the open stuff.
