I can't decide which to get for my 450R, so I am leaving this up the majority.

    THanks

The stock sprockets(Sunstar) work great IMO. Just get a good chain.

I just ordered the DID 520 VT from here. I will get the sprockets around the 1st, still a little unsure about which one to get. Plus I have to watch the fundage..

Hey Jeremy, Top of the line is Sidewinder Tri-Metal with DID Gold chain, Will last longer than any but will cost you!! Budget would be Renthal with DID and is still a good pick, But what are you riding ,motocross, hills & trails that should also be considered as well as gearing! On my 07 450R I do run the Sidewinder 49 rear Tri-Metal and 13 counter titanium with 1600lb DID Gold O-Ring on the race track and this will last most of the year!

Just purchased the MSR HT stainless sprockets and DID VT chain today. Not cheap but will last. Renthals would save a good chunk of coin if the longevity is not a high priority. Looking at a couple hundred bucks.

I mostly ride trails, river bottoms, and the local track every once in a while.

Check with Ken in the CRFs Only store and get him to order you a Talon sprocket and DID chain combo! An awsome choice and save $ with the combo kit!!
